Window Treatments on Lido Key and St Armands
Lido Key and St Armands sit just across the bay from downtown Sarasota, with homes and condos that face the Gulf, the bay, or quiet residential streets. Coastal Shades and Shutters makes custom plantation shutters, shades, blinds, and motorized window treatments for homeowners here, with free in-home consultations and 10+ years of experience.
Water on Both Sides
Depending on where your home sits, you may get morning light off the bay, afternoon sun off the Gulf, or both. That means each side of the house can need a different solution:
-
Solar shades to reduce glare while you keep the view.
-
Blackout shades for bedrooms that catch early light.
-
Plantation shutters to tilt light away from screens and furniture.
Condos and Seasonal Homes
Many Lido Key properties are condos or second homes. Associations may have rules about how window treatments look from outside and when work can be done, so check with yours first and we'll plan around it. If you're away part of the year, motorized shades can be controlled by app while you're away, so you can raise and lower them from wherever you are.
Rental-friendly choices
If you rent your property, cordless shades and simple controls are easy for guests to use. We can schedule installs between vacation-rental bookings.
Privacy Near Busy Streets
Homes close to the shops and restaurants around St Armands Circle can see more foot traffic. Top-down/bottom-up cellular shades and sheer horizontal shades let light in while keeping the lower part of the window covered.
